About
My name's Kate (she/her) and I'm based in the UK.
I started my interior design journey in 2018 studying for a Diploma in Professional Interior Design with The National Design Academy. I stayed on to do a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Design and graduated in January 2024.
I love traditional, period interiors that are full of character, charm, and colour. Obsessed with farmhouse tables, pleated lampshades, Belfast sinks, brass hardware, wainscoting, parquet floors, chandeliers, Chinoiserie, terracotta tiles, antique furniture, four-poster beds, roll-top baths, and pattern clashing.
Some of my interior design inspirations include Heidi Caillier, Sims Hilditch, Ben Pentreath, Beata Heuman, Matt Rollitt, Salvesen Graham, Rose Uniacke, and Rosanna Bossom.
I've loved writing and blogging for well over a decade. I've had many blogs in the past but none of them have fuelled my passion for creativity quite like Devotedly, Kate. I started this blog as a way to showcase my interior work and my love for art, fashion, travel, and of course, interior design. I hope to create a pleasant online space that reflects my passions and taste, like a digital commonplace book.
Unlike my previous blogging attempts, I'm taking it slow this time, only posting what I think is truly worthwhile and authentic. It's important to me that the content I post to the internet is created with care and isn't just me pushing more mindless clutter into the webosphere.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me on any of my socials or via email.
