My name's Kate (she/her) and I'm from the UK.
I started my interior design journey in 2018 studying for a Diploma in Professional Interior Design with The National Design Academy. I stayed on to do a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Design and graduated in January 2024.
I love traditional, period interiors that are full of character, charm, and colour. Particularly obsessed with farmhouse tables, pleated lampshades, Belfast sinks, brass hardware, wainscoting, parquet floors, chandeliers, shaker kitchens, terracotta tiles, antique furniture, four-poster beds, checkerboard tiles, freestanding baths, and chintz.
Some of my interior design inspirations include Heidi Caillier, Ben Pentreath, Beata Heuman, Max Rollitt, Salvesen Graham, and Rosanna Bossom.
I've loved writing and blogging for well over a decade. I've had many blogs in the past but none of them have fuelled my passion for creativity quite like Devotedly, Kate. I started this blog as a way to showcase my interior work and my love for art, fashion, travel, and of course, interior design. I hope to create a pleasant online space that reflects my passions and taste, like a digital commonplace book.
