I stayed at ibis Styles on The Mount, south west of the city centre near the Everyman cinema.
The hotel was refurbished last year so it's very stylish, modern, and fresh which I loved. It's a stone's throw from the train station, a 15-minute walk into the city centre, and there are plenty of bus stops on Blossom Street which makes navigating the city via bus a breeze. Side note: take any First York bus to experience the quietest, smoothest journey of your life.
Anyway, I did a lot of shopping and took a lot of photos. I thought it would be quicker for me (and less boring for you) if I kept my words to a minimum and let the photos do the talking.
This is part 1 of 2 of my York photo dump. Enjoy!
